Jason has his fingers in many pies. He trained at Ecole Ballet Studios and Tanya Pearsons and was a respected dancer performing widely as an independent artist and with companies such as Sydney Dance Company, Opera Australia, Melbourne Ballet Company and tasdance.
While still performing, he completed a degree in Digital Media and began collaborating with choreographers and directors creating projections for Sydney Dance Company, Sydney Theatre Company, Jason Pitt, and Dance North amongst others. He first worked with Graeme Murphy and Janet Vernon dancing in, and recreating the projections in ’Some Rooms’ and has since danced in Murphy’s ‘The Garden of Paradise’ and designed for ’The Silver Rose’ and ‘Romeo and Juliet’ with the Australian Ballet.
He loves teaching and has taught ballet and contemporary at Sydney Dance Company open Classes and Tasdance and private schools around Australia. He has completed his Medical Degree and has worked in the Northern Territory for a number of years recently returning to Sydney. Currently undertaking a Masters in Sports Medicine, Jason is thrilled to be teaching at Studio Tibor.
