Georgia Neaverson

Born in Sydney, Georgia commenced her ballet training at the age of 3 at Northbridge Dance Studios, before later training at Tanya Pearson Classical Coaching Academy. As a part-time student, Georgia was a member of The Australian Ballet School’s Interstate Training Program for many years and attained a Distinction in all Royal Academy of Dance vocational examinations including Advanced 2. At the age of 14, Georgia began full-time training in pursuit of a professional ballet career, and shortly afterwards commenced under the Classical Ballet and Artistic Development program at Studio Tibor.

Under the tutelage of Studio Tibor, Georgia competed as a two-time Soloist at the New York City Finals of the Youth America Grand Prix in 2014 and 2015, performed as a Guest Principal with the Byron Ballet for two seasons and attended various European Summer Intensive Programs, including English National Ballet School and Dutch National Ballet Academy. In 2015, Georgia was accepted into the Dutch National Ballet Academy’s year-round program, where she spent a further two years completing her pre-professional training. Georgia graduated from the Nationale Balletacademie with a Bachelor of Arts (Dance) before joining the Polish National Ballet as a corps-de-ballet artist at the age of 18. Over her three seasons dancing in Warsaw, Georgia performed corps-de-ballet and demi-soloist roles in some of the most iconic full-length productions in the classical ballet repertoire – some of which include Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty and La Dame Aux Camellias. She was also fortunate to work with internationally renowned choreographers such as Krzyzstof Pastor, John Neumeier, and Toer van Schayk.

After living in Europe for five years, Georgia made the difficult decision to return to Australia and continue her university studies full-time. She will commence a Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Laws in August 2020.
