About Us

Ballet is a passion for Julia and Damian. And so, Studio Tibor is a natural extension of  their love of classical ballet. We recognise the growing importance of dance in Australian culture. We have seen young hopefuls become shining lights. We have watched as adult students leave their normal working day behind and blossom into confident beings. Most of all, we have craved for a place we can call our own.

And now, we have it.

Studio Tibor is more than a building. The walls are vibrating with the enthusiasm of our students, many of whom have followed us around from place to place over the years and are thrilled to finally have a permanent ‘home’. The sense of community is important – students young and old are encouraged to enjoy a cup of coffee and free wi-fi.

Our three dance studios of various sizes allow a variety of classes to run simultaneously. Studio hire is also available.

Both professional dancers with a combined experience of 60+ years, Julia and Damian are now thrilled to be able to pass on their knowledge.
